Mission
To promote and build culturally sensitive and scientifically acceptable tools in training and educating Traditional Bone Setters on safe techniques of fracture care across all the Regions in Ghana.
Vision
To train all persons involved in traditional bone setting with the goal of improving the quality of fracture care and minimizing fracture-related complications in Ghana. We are committed to strengthening fracture care by building the capacity of traditional bonesetters.
Who We Are and What We Do
We are a team of orthopedic surgeons, nurses, public health expert, data management team and Research Officers from different institutions within the health sector in Ghana who seek to improve trauma care by providing education and training to Traditional Bone Setters (TBS) among others, on safe techniques of fracture care for all specially for the vulnerable group like Pediatric patient.
Orthopedic Surgeons
Structuring robust anatomical curriculums and handling high-severity referrals from rural zones to avoid necrosis or permanent disability.
Nursing Force
Implementing practical grounding in sterilization, bandaging methodology, and primary patient safety protocols on the ground.
Public Health Officials
Directing large-scale rural awareness campaigns and dissolving cultural frictions between traditional practice and modern diagnosis.
Data Science
Validating program success through hard clinical reporting metrics and establishing transparent hospital admission tracking.
